Revived

I’m on my spring break at home in Cupertino, CA. I want to continue to entertain you and stretch your mind with my posts. Thank you to my loyal few who continue to read. Comments are always welcome.

* Monta Ellis looks 12, but that don’t mean he can’t play ball!

* Also, I love Don Nelson. The way he adjusts his blazer after an exciting play while pacing in his area I just read a story about him that appeared in the NY Times on December 17, 2006. Great little summary of his career and a glimpse of his soft side. Read it: “Nelson, an Old-School Revolutionary Revives a Franchise and his Career

* Today, something went right. I was intensely craving a Chipotle burrito. I shared this information with my father to which he responded with great news. His company had a deal with Chipotle! Free burrito after 1pm. YES!!!! I will never forget that first bite.

* This morning, I had two phone interviews back to back. Not a big deal. Now, all I can do is wait. -_-
* I thought I had more to say, but apparently I do not.
* I hope Southwest gets back on its feet because I really love that company.
* I do not love United Airlines though. My return flight to Pittsburgh is miserable: SJ -> LAX -> OHARE -> PIT, but I should also consider that it is my LAST flight to Pittsburgh ever? Wow.
* I do not care for media on sex-prostitution scandals. However, It does confirm my rooted belief that by and large, Men are SICK PEOPLE. There are few exceptions, of course, but over half of the men (my mother suggests an estimate of 80%) in this world are governed primarily by their hormones. The seemingly “normal” ones work hard to repress or mask these tendencies on a day-to-day, perhaps hour-to-hour basis.
* I had a conversation with my mother about motherhood and the exciting stages of a child’s growth and development. She shared a story with me: At 8 months, I crawled to a corner of our Florida home and picked up a dead cockroach and intended to eat it. She stopped me. I WANT TO EXPERIENCE BEING A MOTHER. Sometimes, it’s too much, the desire.
* I have been listening to Feist’s “So Sorry” and Peter and the Wolf’s “Working Away” obsessively
